Final Update!
almost 9 years ago – Mon, Jul 24, 2017 at 12:36:52 AM

Hello Backers,

It has been exactly one year (and two days) since Pascal Press was first funded on Kickstarter! With all of the units now received or on their way, and positive feedback coming in, I think we can call this project a success!

I am so thankful for the support that this community has shown my team and me. While we had some bumps along the way, it always helped ease the stress knowing our backers were there to show us support and understanding.

Pascal Press started as a personal challenge. As I was nearing the end of my education as an engineer, I felt like there was something missing. I knew how to design and conceptualize interesting technology, but I had no clue how to take my ideas from my notebook and make them a reality. After going through the process of developing and producing Pascal Press, I have found a new passion in product design. I am eager to take what I have learned from Pascal Press and develop more innovative products!

As for Pascal Press, the initial feedback has been much appreciated. Everyone seems to agree that the coffee quality is excellent, especially for a portable device. There is room for improvement on some of the features that we will continue to work on. In the near future, we will be re-tooling our molds for the silicone grips and main plunger seal to make more consistent and more secure. We also have some ideas for accessories like a flip-top lid and an extra insulating sleeve. Any improvements to existing parts will be available at cost to all Kickstarter backers on our website (www.PascalPress.com).

Last week we started selling Pascal Press on our website. If you would like to purchase another unit, feel free to message me to receive a coupon code for a backer exclusive discount. We will also be adding customer reviews to the website. If you want to let the world know what you think of Pascal Press, you can fill out a review here: https://goo.gl/forms/YRicggAoMm9GkVpn2

This may be our last update, but you can still reach us through Kickstarter. Comments, questions and concerns are always welcome and encouraged on our Kickstarter page. We will continue monitoring the page to make sure we reply in a timely manner.

Once again, thank you so much for your support! I do not think I can say that enough. We could not have done it without you!!

Best,

The Pascal Press Team

PS.

I have had a few people ask how leak-proof our lids really are. I put my money where is and did a test with real consequences if the lid wasn't leak proof. I brewed some coffee then left my Pascal Press upside down on my laptop while I worked. After half an hour and a few test shakes, not one drop came through the lid. I think it is safe to say we are certified leak proof! Watch the timelapse of test here:

Pascal Press Unboxing Guide!!
almost 9 years ago – Mon, Jul 10, 2017 at 10:45:44 PM

Hello Backers,

I hope everyone had a great weekend! All of the Pascal Press orders are now out for shipment and backers are beginning to receive their units!

After giving some units to some close friends and family members, I realized our assembly instructions were not very clear. A lot of people are confused about how to install the filter and the plunger seal. To help ease the confusion and let you get straight to brewing, I have put together an unboxing video to show the assembly steps.

Hopefully this video provides more clear instructions on how to use Pascal Press. If you are still having troubles setting it up, feel free to message me or leave a comment and I will get back to you as soon as possible!

Best,

Alan
